Dainis Krievins

Dr. Krievins is a Director of Institute of Research and Chief of Endovascular Programm at Pauls Stradins Clinical university hospital. He is board certified Vascular surgeon since 1998.

Dainis Krievins serves as the President of the Latvian Society of Vascular Surgery since 2012. He is a professor of Vascular Surgery at University of Latvia.

In addition, he is co-founder and Executive Chairman of Scientific Advisory Board of Clinical Research Foundation EEU.

Dr.Krievins special interest has been development of new vascular devices. He served as a principal investigator for numerous FIM and CE mark/FDA clinical trials. His academic research focuses on the process of innovation for development of novel medical technologies to treat aneurysms and peripheral arteries.

Dr. Krievins  graduated  in 1993 from the Medical Academy of Latvia.

He completed his residency of Surgery and Vacular Surgery at Riga Stradins University. He completed Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center.
